I bought my acu-rite in the hardware section at Wally World. It is the temp/humidity one it has the 10 ft lead with rubber probe on the end of it. My question is , Do I put the whole meter inside my homemade bator or just the probe into the water wiggler ? Does the probe measure the humdiity as well as the temp ? It measures insine temp and outside temp,the outside temp will be the one going into the water wiggler, Right ? So if I do put the whole thing in the cooler I could read the cooler temp as well as the ww temp. But will the humidity in the cooler ruin the meter? Please somebody ?
