ACV w/mother?

I'd like to start adding ACV to the coops water. A local store has ACV that's unpasteurized but it's filtered so it's clear, with no mother.
I know that unpasteurized is good but does it have to have the mother to be used in the chickens water? I've looked for Bragg's but no one carries it around here.

I believe this should have the same benefits as Bragg's. It won't hurt them, anyway.
