I have read posts that say do not use ACV in a galvenised water container, what about if it's a different kind of metal container?

I would just avoid metal containers altogether. ACV can be pretty corrosive to metal surfaces and you wouldn't know what components of the metal were leaching into your waters....not until it was too late to help the chickens.

I am thinking stainless steel spout on a plastic water bottle for chicks.... any thoughts on this?

I've used it for rabbits on just such a waterer for many years and didn't see any ill effects. But then, I didn't look up into the nipple to see if there was any corrosion going on, but my rabbits didn't suffer any.

Could be stainless steel is impervious to acetic acid. I know that galvanized tin is not...I got to see the corrosion first hand on one of those waterers after just a small time with ACV in the water.

Thankyou for your thoughts on this
