Add day olds to one week olds?

Sigh, just had to throw three orphaned 3 week old chicks in to the big chick brooder. Poor things have culture shock. They'll figure it out but they're too young to hang in the yard without momma.

I can see throwing baby ones about a few days to 1 week apart in together but I dont know about small ones with big ones. I tried to put one of my male americanas with the females and one of them went after the male and he was so scared. he kept running into the fence.. I was told that no matter what age they are if they are not going to get along then they wont at a young or old age. Just have to take that chance I guess. Im going to try again but with all of the males they are in with different breeds right now.

I just cleaned box and put them all in together. Big ones so far are not picking on them, havn't seen any aggression except maybe between the two older ones to eachother. Not sure if they are playing or why they keep flying into eachother, wierd. Little ones kinda follow older around so far. I took pic of them but dont know how to attach it here. Ill keep an eye on them though. Hopefully it keeps going ok. Ok, figured picture out, kinda large and with my camera so not the greatest. Little water bowl because they havnt figured out the big one yet, hopefully older ones will teach them. I put lots of stuff in there to give the older ones something to do besides pick on the little ones.

The tinies really do seem to learn quickly from the older ones. I can sit in the bigger brooder and the older ones fly to momma, within 20 minutes the new and previously shy ones are beginning to hop around on my feet and ankles. Yes, I get dirty. Clothes wash.

And I have one tiny peanut that is totally attached to one of the much older turkey poults. It looks like his poo is following him around. Very cute. Yes, lots of places to perch, stuff to mess with REALLY helps limit spats. Grass clippings is a favorite here.
