I have a buff brahma, blue laced Wyandotte, black sex link, easter egger, 2 baby gold sex links, a baby light brahma, and a baby barred rock. We added 2 americaunas that we received from a lady and supposedly they are about 15 months old. She indicated that they were laying on a regular bases. that is why she had to get rid of some. she was getting too many eggs a day. it has been a full week and we still have not gotten a single egg outta both newbies. they get along great actually with all the others. the lady is nice enough to say that if I would like, I can swap these two out for two different ones. Should I take them back or should I give them a little longer? any advice anyone?

Give them more time. Moving house and being introduced to a new flock is stressful for chickens and stress can cause them to stop laying for awhile. It sounds they have settled in and are happy, so you should be getting some eggs from them soon.

My 3 layers stopped laying when we introduced two new pullets to the group. Luckily they couldn't hold back for long and things are back to normal. The one annoying thing is they've stopped laying by the door and now lay in the farthest corner of the coop...(I just love having to lean all the way in to get them...not!)
