POLISH! I love them! They always look so cute and ditzy, and have sweet and unique personalities.

You wouldn't happen to want a young rooster for your ladies, would you?

I have an extra WC Black!

I have a new hen and roo, the hen is gorgeous, but my roo has been plucked bald, looks like an old man and the feathers dont seem to be growing back!!! Anyone know if they will come back or not? It has been a few weeks now!!!

My 'spare' is only about 7 weeks old- but he's definatly a cockerel! He has little wattles already, and swaggers instead of walks! He seems sweet so far- his father isn't the attacking type either. I only hope he stays sweet when the hormones hit...

I have the same problem with my adult Polish rooster- he's been sporting the 'monk' look since he was about four months old. He's lower in the pecking order than my 'alpha' roo, a bantam Brahma, and every time he gets new blood feathers, they get plucked out by the other roo. It dosn't affect his standing with his Polish girls- they can't see him any way.
I've heard of people putting Blu-Kote on plucked areas, but I haven't tried it... It seems to work though, but it does dye their 'dreadlocks' a lovely shade of indigo!
