I added 3 black australorps in with my 3 older girls. I have a buff Orpington, a barred rock, and a black sex link about 9 weeks old. The new girls are 6 weeks old and quit a bit smaller. They did ok out in the run all day. A little pecking but they had plenty of room to run away. I'm worried about them being locked up in the coop tonight. Any advice??

I would leave them for a night and if in the morning there is no blood you dont have to worry but if there is than take them out till the wounds heal and then try again. That is my opinion and if they look like they are getting along now, i wouldnt worry.

Well everyone looks good this morn :)
When I opened the door the 3 big girls ran out like usual and the 3 new girls stayed inside. So at least they will have some time to relax a bit. But I think they should be fine.

That is very good, congratulations!!
