Added some new Chicks!!

I got 2 Barred Rocks to add to my 2 week old Red Pullets. Unfortunately the 2 week Olds did not think that was a good idea so right now they are separated hopefully when they get older I can put them together.

I'd just introduce them a little at a time.

The sooner you get them together, the better. What worked well for me last year with a 10 day age spread (5 + 6) was to put them in the same brooder with a wire divider between the 2 groups. After several days, I took the least dominant older chick, and put him in with the babies. I kept rotating the older chicks in one at a time, until they'd all been together, then I put in 2, and continued, until they were all together in the babies territory. After a day together, followed by a night of separation, I pulled the divider. When you give them supervised play dates, be sure to give them tasty little treats.
