Adding 2 day old chicks to newly hatched eggs

HI Everyone!

Last year I gave my Buff Orp. 3 day old chicks after sadly, none of her clutch ended up hatching and she accepted them with no problem. This year I am fairly confident that there will be at lease 3 or 4 that will hatch maybe even more, due date is this Friday!! I did want to add some more chicks under her on Friday night and was wondering if anyone has advice for me on whether or not Its okay to add 2 day olds under her on Friday night even if some haven't quite hatched out yet and if there are going to be more to hatch over night or even Saturday morning... ?? Is it too risky? any advice is appreciated

It’s possible they could interfere with chicks still trying to hatch. Not saying it definitely won’t work but I wouldn’t do it.
