I have a 12 x 12 coop with a 16 x 8 run. I have 5 red adult hens. I just acquired 6, 2 week old keets that are living in a large water container in my garage.
When can I start introducing the guineas to the chickens? I was thinking I could range the guineas during the day and let them in the coop with the hens at night to protect them from predators.
Should I have a separate pen and coop for the giuneas?
How old do the keets need to be before they don't need a heat lamp? It is getting down to 70 at night.
I know this is lots to ask but I am new to all of this. I have never had guineas and these chickens are my first.
