Adding a BLRW roo a good idea?

I have a chance to add a BLRW roo to my flock of 15 girls....but I am not sure if it's a good idea pending age of the roo. My girls are 11 weeks old, so I am wondering what is the oldest I should go with a cockerel/roo? Am trying to figure out ages now and I am aware of the quarantine period. The girls are moving into their new, huge run this week, I figure with new turf a new bird might be accepted more easily but don't want to risk it. Ideas? And thank you!

Probably add a cockerel as close to their age as you can if you wanna add a boy

That's what I am hoping for, but I'm wondering if it was, say 15-16 weeks old, how big of an issue could it be?

Sooo, the roo being offered was 1 year old at the end of April. I'm thinking that's too old, right?
