Adding a new chicken to my flock... Need a bit of advice please!

I have just recently got 3 hybrids for the first time ever, and I am really enjoying it. They been doing really well, they are not laying yet as when I bought them they were only 18 weeks old. Anyway my dad bought me another chicken as a gift because I love them so much. He didn't know much about introducing a new chicken, I have only read some bits in a book. The first day they chased it around and now they all seem to be getting on okish. What I would like to know is, the new hen I got is 18 months old and is obviously laying, I've had her only 2 days but would like to know if all this would stop her from laying and how long would it likely to be?

The reason she's not laying could be from the stress of the new environment and being introduced to a new flock.

It depends on how long it takes them to get comfortable and acclimated!!
