Adding a roof between two walls

Hello,

I am toying with the idea of sticking my eglu cube on the side of my house where there is 7 feet between my garage wall and a block wall. I can obviously add a gate to get into the "run area" (enclosing all 4 sides) Do any of you have ideas or experience on how to enclose the top of my proposed run idea? Any input would be appreciated

You'd need to attach a board to the garage to support rafters on that end, and attach a sill plate to the top of the block wall for the other end of the rafters

I'd use treated lumber for both of those pieces

Or install a ledger board on both walls to nail chicken wire, welded wire or whatever to for the top.
