Adding a rooster or two

I have 12 hens 6 that I think are red sex link 4 golden laced, 1 naked neck and 1 that we are not sure of. The coop is and 8x8 and has a tall roof. If I am at the house the girls get to free range. So they are not cooped up to much. A guy I work with told me if I wanted I could have a rooster or 2. My choices are lavender Orpington or RIR. My wife wants the lavender and I'm leaning towards the RIR. Would there be any problem with getting both?

You don't really have enough hens for two roosters. Getting two increases your chance for having two of the biggest problems with roosters, overmating leading to featherless backs on the hens, and fighting between the roos.

I vote with the wife, cause I want a lavender BO, but if this is your first experience with a roo, go with the least aggressive one, the one when you go there, walks away from you.
