I know i will sound like such an amatuer but here i go....

I have about 19 laying hens and wonder what are the benefits of adding a rooster and if i do add a rooster whats the deal with eating the eggs how do you manage them if you want chicks but also sell your free range eggs?? Help please:)

LOL! Around here the eggs marked 'fertilized' sell more than reg. eggs!

You can still eat the eggs.. and they taste like EGGS!

You won't know the difference with the eggs as far as taste.
