Adding a second coop

We are having so much fun with our 9 chickens that we are adding a second coop. Any ideas on where we should put it in relation to the first coop? Will the chickens know who's coop is who's ?

That's ok! I'm really enjoying seeing all the comments. It seems they really work their way into our hearts. I could never eat another chicken after seeing what sweet little critters they are, nothing against those that can. We spoil ours also with any kind of treat we can, kale, bread, yogurt.

What a gorgeous rooster. We have only 6 girls.

I would never think of my chickens as food, they are my children and once adopted will be cared for, for better or worse. But we still do buy and eat chicken from grocery. As long as my flock doesn't find out, don't think they will care.

Well here is the completed coop and it turned out really nice! It has a 6x9 addition, the chickens really enjoy the extra space. Time to go chicken shopping!
