I know we arent supposed to start more than 1 topic but I never got a response to my other one and I would really appreciate some advice if ANYONE has ANY advice at all.
I am getting a silkie next week who is 8 weeks old and I have a 1 year old orp and a 1 year old SLW
-Once she is old enough to join the other two, how should I do it? Add her to the roost after dusk? Or bring them out in the back yard and let them free range together?
-How would you expect my 2 hens to react to a gentle silkie? It has only been the two of them since day one so they will be sooo confused on who the heck is that? If she is clearly on the bottom of the pecking order, will the bullying only last a couple days or does it completely depend?
-I would rather only get one silkie but would it but a lot easier on her if I brought one of her sisters in too?
