I have heard pro's and con's on adding ACV to the chicken's water. I have also heard NOT to add it during heat spells. Is there some danger if you add it to their water? I live in Florida and there seems to always be a heat spell.
What is the recommendation?
Thank you

Hi there!

There is no problems with adding it to water in sumer or winter. However, do not add it to metal waterers as it will break down the metal, leaching chemicals into the water. Boosting health, encouraging drinking, acting as a laying stimulant, regulating respiratory, digestive and immune systems, killing harmful bacteria, reducing stress and promoting blood flow, ACV is very healthy to chickens. Add it to their water about once every two or three weeks.
