Adding and subtracting to flock

Hello all,
I have a quick question. Out of all my SEXED hens, one turned out to be a rooster. I have to get rid of him due to complaints to my neighbors. My question is will my two hens be ok without him? And should I introduce a new hen into the flock? (if two hens can be called that!)

My birds don't seem to miss another when I take from the flock. I have done this now twice and currently I am down to just the two best birds of my flock. Life just goes on.
