Adding another duck

My duck silly goose is going on three months and i want to get another one. I only want two for now, he is a muscovy. Will two males get along or do i need a female? And is it best to get one of the same age, will he accept a younger one?

I would get a mature hen, actually I would get at least two mature hens so that he does not overmate the one. If you get a young duck you may not be able to tell gender, and two drakes may eventually fight.

I agree with @sourland , I would get females, multiple. I have heard the ratio is one drake to 3 females. Do to the mating behavior come mating season.

Yes...Get Hens or you can have all Drakes. as long as no females are present they should be okay...

I have an all male flock of 3 and they're great together. If you just want more ducks I would recommend an all male flock.

If you want eggs then definitely get 2 ladies.

It is nice to have all males as not many people want Drakes

Since i wanted Eggs i had to get two females and re home 3 drakes. It all depends on what you want out of your ducks. Pets, Eggs, Meat, breeding, Show and/or mix of them.
