So for some reason I can’t find this anywhere on the internet. I just added my eggs to my incubator and the humidity went up 23% Is that normal? Will it come back down or should I be worried. Trying to hatch between 35-40 and the level is at 62 since I added the eggs.

If you take all the water out of the incubator and if the outside of the incubator is lower humidity then it should go down.

I didn’t put any water in cause I was trying for a dry hatch and humidity was at 35 when I put it in. Humidity in the house is 55

In the room you have the incubator in you may want to run a dehumidifier.

Thanks.
This morning when I checked everything was regulated and back to normal. I don’t normally fill my incubator to max capacity so maybe that had something to do with it. I appreciate everyone’s help as it caused some major stress.
