If you have an incubator that is half full and is suppose to hatch soon ,can you add more eggs to fill it up to be hatched at a later date ?

I do it all the time...just keep the door opening to a minimum and make sure you mark your eggs...I would say date but that thread is getting out of control! Some people can't control themselves

Yes but you have to be careful. You don't want to be disturbing the bator any more than necessary. Staggared hatches are very tricky!
I don't recommend it.

And what about the humidity if you add new eggs and have no other incubator to put the ones it about to hatch the new eggs would have too high of humidity wouldn't they..just my thought..thought about it myself but that was conclusion came too and that is why I went out and bought a second one.. Can't even believe I got the first one now I have two and thinking about another.

How soon are they due to hatch ? I would try to wait, staggered hatches can cause problems.

buddy has a sportsman incubator...three tray deal...anyways...we don't have any issues...I have also done it with a styrofoam one and not had too bad of results...I have a tendency to forget to wrote down when I put eggs in and usually hatch in the automatic rotator...I know...I am an idiot

I did that a lot when I first got my incubator. The first two hatches did ok, but the ones after were pretty bad. I think I had 3 hatches in a row with 0 hatches. It can be done, but I wouldn't recommend doing more than two seperate hatches at a time, then cleaning the bator. You can do a search on here and find instructions on how to make your own incubator, then you wouldn't have to worry about it!!
