Adding extra eggs to incubator??? Day 4-5

Hey guys,
Just wandering on thoughts of adding eggs to incubator on day 5?
I brought some for my hen who was broody but she is not interested anymore more.
Could I add these too my incubator with the ones already in there?
What do I do about lockdown and humidity? Etc
I can’t get hold of another incubator in time so they have to go in??
Any advise????

Hi Markkinley,
Iam new to this incubation thing but i have been researching about the process of the incubation. After reading up on it all i don't recommend adding more eggs at a later date. Only for the reason that on day 19 the eggs need to be taken out of the turning tray and left in one position. Three days before they are due to hatch you need to up the humidity.
Now if you were to add more eggs over those days it would be hard to up the humidity when the other eggs arnt ready for extra humidity, also if your incubator doesnt have removable trays (like mine, they do not come out separately) you cant leave some on the turning trays and some in a stay still position.

You really should use another incubator and not put the extras in your current one.
