I have one rooster, 4 hens, 2 of which are sitting.... I am wanting to add 3 more hens and a rooster. Can I do this? Will 2 roosters be too many for 7 hens? What will the roosters do ... will they kill each other, the hens... or what???

Thanks

The answer to your questions is maybe. You are dealing with living animals so it is hard to say what wll happen for sure. I think this link can get you to a lot of answers and give you additional things to consider about integrating chickens.

As far as how many roosters, the "ideal" ratio is about 10 or 12 hens for each rooster. But many people are successful with the ratios you are considering. You can try it, but I'd have a back-up plan if it did not work, either from them fighting or from the hen to rooster ratio.
