Adding new chicks to 10 weeks old chicks

Mother hen hatched out 3 babies 10 weeks ago and now broody again. She won't get off nest and when I went to the feed store to buy some day olds, the woman said not to. She said they would kill the babies. Is this true?

I don't have a way to separate them. Will they be jealous that their mother hen is paying attention to the new babies. After all, they are still babies sort of. Geez she just dropped them and got back on the nest. I have been pulling her off for 3 weeks now and she won't give up. There are NO eggs under her to boot! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I agree the younger birds may hurt or kill the chicks as well as the broody may too. You just never know.
