I have 7 chicks that I purchased in June. They are almost ready for the big coop (hard to cut the apron strings) but now I want more
I have picked out the chicks that I want but would like to add roosters to the flock. is it okay to have 3 roosters? and will it be okay
to put all my chickens together when the time comes for them all to be in the Coop?

Also would it be okay to put Guineas in with my chickens? Will they get along?

3 roosters would be too much for 7 chickens. There should be a 1:8 ratio of roosters to hens.

As long as you wait until the chicks are older, they should be fine.

I have four guineas and five chickens in the same coop right now. Plus a turkey. They get along OK and the females all go in the shelter to lay their eggs. And then the turkey gets all maternal and tries to hatch them out.
