I have 5 chicks that will be a week old on Wednesday. I am wanting to get a silkie on Friday but not sure how the other will react adding a new chick in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I added chicks to my group of chicks and they seem fine about it...

Chicks are generally very accepting of other chicks. At this age, they haven't really established the strong pecking order that causes them to attack new birds. You should be just fine adding another.
