Adding Pullets to flock

I have added 4 pullets to my flock - the resident flock is about one month older than the pullets. Unfortunately, i did not have time to have the incubation period. The hatchery says that the pullets have been vaccinated for Full dose Bi-Valent Mareks Vaccine. Do you think my silkies will be okay? The kids are so worried

yes, I think they will be ok. I have done it several times and never had a wreck. That said, the possibility of a wreck is real, and many people have had wreck. AND sincerely wished they had not done it.

It is like driving without your seat belt, you can get away with it, some people never wear it, but when you are in the wreck, you wish you had. It is a risk. mrsk
