What would be the best way to add size, adding a large roo over hens, or getting large hens and breeding to an average size rooster? Does size follow one sex over the other?

Both female and male effect size, But the female has much more to do with size that the male.

thats pretty cool i had know idea

Snowbird is that true with every trait???? So, I guess that the reason folks change the rooster(s) is that it's the fastest way to effect overall change but then it takes more generations to make the change?

I really realize that the hen's genes were "stronger" than the males if I'm saying this correctly? I thought they had an equal say so, but I'm still learning every day!

So come December, I'll be culling all my smaller hens... Good thing to know.
