Adding some color: Barnevelders & Copper Marans!

So excited, we're getting 6 new birds tomorrow: 2 Barnevelders, 2 Copper Marans & 2 Easter Eggers. Can't wait to add some colorful eggs to the morning collection!

We love our rainbow flock and rainbow eggs. My 3 yr old grand son is learning which chickens lay which eggs! Hester lays the blue one, Helen lays the tan one, Ruby lays the chocolate, etc. It is so cute to collect eggs with him.

The dogs have learned to follow him, cause if he drops one they get to eat it

. Lucky for them they only eat the ones he gives them, they are good about leaving things that "don't belong to them".
