Adding these hens to the flock. What are they?

We lost a hen this week and have decided to and three hens to the flock. We are purchasing these from Craigslist. I am not sure of the breeds and we're newbies, but I would guess two Rhode Island Reds and a Barred Rock. Would I be correct?

I don't know the breeds for sure but I just wanted to mention that it is VERY good to quarantine new hens for a month if possible, to see if any respiratory or other diseases become apparent. You can even keep them in a dog cage in the garage (assuming it isn't too hot for this).

Also dust for mites/lice and repeat every 7 days times two.

Inspect the poo for worms and diarrhea, etc. in your quarantine.

Some birds can be asymptomatic carriers of chronic respiratory disease, and it can even pass through the egg to the chick (mycoplasma can). So quarantine is good.

What do you do if they have respiratory disease?

They look just like my Barred Rock and New Hampshire Reds but I do not know the difference in those and Rhode Island Reds.

I do not see RIR's, they are normally darker and more uniform in colouring, whereas I am seeing hints of white on the 'red' birds.. Maybe some new hapshires or other production reds. Can not tell on the black white one, looks almost speckled/mottled as aposed to barred.

Hard to tell from the picture, looks like they may be red sexlinks/production reds or buff orpingtons, and the black/white looks more laced than barred, like a silver laced Wyandotte.
