I currently have 1 hen and 1 rooster due to some issues last year that have been resolved, also he doesn't overbreed the hen because shes mean and in charge. Anyway I would like to add at least 12 chicks(girls) to the mix(once old enough) will that be okay since I am adding more chickens then existing? And any tips to make it go over smoother would be much appreciated.
