Adding to group and time frame?

so I had 3 quail in the outdoor aviary 6x8 and then added 2 more directly about a month ago.. so now the 5 week olds have moved outdoor too but there are 4 so I put them in a dog kennel inside the aviary to get familiar with scent and such. I mixed things around and spritz with ACV ... what’s a recommended time frame I keep them in the kennel?

I went ahead and just let them all mingle... so about 24 hours I guess was enough for this particular group Everyone is playing in the dirt and picking at a frozen peach treat... all is well
