Adding to hen Vs taking away

Preparing for the worst case scenario here so I have a plan in place.
Long story short I've had eggs in the incubator on the same timeline as eggs under a broody hen as I've been struggling with the incubator.

So far only one egg in the incubator has hatched, one I believe has not made it, 4 to go.

My question is if this chick is the only 1 to hatch of my 6 in the incubator, am I best to try and put it under the hen at night, or take 1 or 2 of the chicks from the hen so it has some friends.

when did the chicks under the broody hatch? if the same day you can try to put the chick under the broody. some broodies accept any chicks you put and some don't. you have to be there and watch.
