Adding to your flock

What do you guys do to add 6 to 8 week old chicks to your flock of 1 rooster and 2 hens? Do I have to worry about the rooster killing them?

I'd worry about the hens killing them, roosters tend to be more accepting of new girls.

Really? The hens were very accepting of them in the pen...the rooster is too however he did assert himself with them when he joined them. I did have them in separate pens next to each other at first so they could get used to each other.
