I’m thinking of adding a couple of Wyandotte’s to my flock.
Any thoughts?
Recommendations?
What should I look for when looking for pullets?

Make sure thr saddle feathers are not pointy and the tail feathers are not curly. Slowly add them to the flock. Then when you add them put them in at night and sit out to make sure they let them eat and drink.

I found someone that is selling 6week pullets...will they be too young to start showing saddle feathers if they’re cockerels?

Yes, they should they should. Here is a picture its not a Wyandotte but it will do.

From what I understand, wyandottes are rose combs and hard to sex unless they do it at the hatchery.

My first 2 BLRW were straight run and I was so worried one or both would be boys. One of them They are about 3.5 months now and I know for sure both are pullets.

I adore them so much I got 2 more that are 3 weeks.

I have 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes and 1 silver laced. My GLWs can be very angry, but when the “spar” (because they are pullets), they never actually fight, they both just run away really quick. My SLW however, is the sweetest thing ever! She loves me and since she is the only one of her kind in the flock, she tries to find buddies to hang out with [but when she can’t she sits alone :(]. Anyway, I hope that helps :)
