I have three one year old silkies, and I also have three three day old regular chicks. When should I put them together? I tried searching this, but the results say how to add regular chickens and regular chickens, or young silkies to older standards.

My questions are:
Should I add them when the standards are the same size as the silkies, or wait until they are larger?
Should I introduce them first, while the chicks are little?
Since there's three old chickens and three new chicks (so equal numbered old/new), should I do anything differently than what is generally recommended?

Thanks a bunch!

I would put the new young ones in a cage inside the old one or next to it so that they could talk/interact before being in the same one so that they can get used to eachother more before-hand. If the chicks are very young, you want to be careful they don't get put in the pecking order too early because they could get too beat up from the others in the pecking order.
