Adequate ventilation?

Yes, opening the soffits on front of coop would be good.
Hopefully there is also a roof overhang in the back, open those soffits also to create some passive flow.

Some top hinged, glazed windows might be good on the sides,
propped open all summer for protected ventilation, and closed in winter priding light.

The numbers cited are not magic, but a popular rule of thumb.
The more ventilation the better.
Ultimately the temp and humidity should be the same inside the coop as outside the coop.

Oh, and.... Welcome to BYC! @Nicrom

Yes, there is an overhang on the back side as well and we’ll look into adding some vents there, also. I am in NW Georgia and it’s pretty hot and humid here. Thank you for your help and guidance on what to do! People here have seriously exceeded my expectations.
(I updated my location in my profile, thanks!) I hope one day I’ll be as helpful as all of you.

They can also do bird blocking since they already have a board there?

As a fellow resident of the Steamy Southeast, the more you can open up the better. You're working on a roofed run, right?

You could even open up that entire wall unless it faces the direction of the prevailing winter winds.

Is your coop shaded?

My yard is lacking in natural shade so I had to put up picnic pavilions.

(The latter picture was taken late in the evening. The coop gets sun most of the day for most of the year).

Oh, then you'll probably want lots more ventilation.

Not sure what you mean by that.

Ah, that’s nice what you did to help protect from the sun. Yes, a roofed run but it does get mostly sun in the summer. I put up shade cloth yesterday which has helped a ton! I could add ventilation on that side as well. Someone mentioned the bird block which would make my life easier. And if I could add those that would be great. If not I’ll bite the bullet and have my husband do more work to open it up for them. I added a completed picture without the added shade cloth.
