adirondak chicken?

A neighbor of mine says he has an adirondak chicken that lays large brown eggs. Is there such a chicken? These are black with a little brown on them. He likes to confuse me sometimes. Is this one of them? Jean

Hi all,
I think he just doesn,t know. He told me he had a dominiga roo and it was a ?plymonth rock. I think. It has a large comb.
I can,t wait till Sat. I am going to a chicken auction in waynesville,NC. They say they are molting now so the price per hen is 8 to 10 dollars apiece. I know that is a good bit but I want some hens sooooooooooooo bad. Jean
