I have a Janoel JN8-48 that I have hatched quite a few chickens and quail, I have had a 90%+ hatch rate. The temp says 99.5 degrees and I have never checked it because my hatch rates have been fine.
I put a manual outdoor thermometer in there today to double check the temps and it says 101-102
Do you think I need to adjust the temp or just leave it be? I have not turned the incubator off since October 1st its ran nonstop and hatched everything out great but if its too high I dont want it do damage, it always say 99.3-99.5 and never goes higher than 99.5 so I am guessing that if the manual thermometer is correct then 101-102 is what I have hatched my chicks at
