Adopted Clipped Beak Hens

Not a great picture, but I just adopted 4 chickens, all of their beaks have been cut. Just checking if this cut will grow back? It seams kinda far back to me. First time getting chickens like this so I thought I’d get some insight on if there’s anyway I can help/if I need to be worried about this.

No need to worry. They clip beaks to prevent them from pecking each other in confined places. It will take time to grow back.

Looks like they were commercial birds. As stated it's to keep birds from pecking each other as bad when they are over crowded. It might take awhile but it will grow back.

They will grow back. Our chicks had their beaks cut just before we got them, at 4 weeks; they are now 10 weeks and they have been grown back a good while (a few weeks at least)
