Chirping
about a month ago we adopted three hens (from the same neighbor so they were already established with each other). We transported them about 5 minues in the car to our home where we had their own temporary coop already set up so we could slowly introduce them to our already established flock of 6. Two of the three didn't miss a beat in laying their eggs. The move didn't even phase them. One of them, approximately two year old Buff Orpington hasn't laid an egg since we adopted her. The neighbor we adopted from had a flock of about 8 and said they were all good layers. I'm wondering if she perhaps didn't know this Buff wasn't laying? We have been feeding the same feed, giving fresh veggies as snacks including cooked & crushed egg shells, worms, etc. Any advise is welcome. thanks,
