I would also suggest isolation for the biggest offenders. Also are they eating the whole egg or just the shell and leaving the rest. If eating the shell then they have a calcium deficiency, and are craving the shells. Last I would start picking up eggs on a more regular schedule. If they do not see them they can not eat them. After a while hopefully they will forget about eating eggs. Good luck.

This is excellent advice. When one of mine started this annoying habit AND started teaching it to another-! I started going out every hour to gather eggs. That's how I caught her in the act and practically scared her right out of her bloomers! And incidentally, neither she nor her apprentice did it EVER AGAIN!!!
