.. on the subject of games, after owning american gamefowl i will never own another type of chicken. My games are sweeter, smarter and much hardier then any other kind of chicken I have ever had. I have no illegal motives n the raising of my fowl, I have them solely for my entertainment, I just enjoy taking care of them. they have so much more personality then other chickens, they are more regal and they have a rich history that should be preserved. these animals were not created to fight, there ar not fighting lines, these animals were simply bred with the intent to preserve the natural instincts god gave them.
to the OP if you plan on getting them don't keep your old rooster unless you are keeping this one penned separately at all times, it wont be safe for your little guy.
