ador..A door! adore--What are your favorites?

It is my understanding that the electrical option will not have battery back up. You have to use one or the other. I have an Ador mounted inside the coop. It's great! The accessories - external push button and external light sensor are easy to install if you need any of those options.

Yes, so I went with the battery since my generator is only on the house, not the barn. I hope someday I can get solar for the barn, then I will convert it to electricity. I like that I have that option. Overall, I am extremely happy with the door.

In my country there are only 2 choices:
1- random chinese junk sold on Amazon.
2- run chicken.
I went with the second options and in over 1 year the door never failed. I replace the batteries every 6 months for peace of mind. I am more satisfied than I thought I would be.

We’ve had one for over 10 years. Replaced the motor last year with one from Ador. Readily available and reasonably priced. No experience with other doors but Ador is a winner.
