ADOR1 Automatic Coop Door?

I went back and dug around on the ADOR1 website and found a lot the answers. The remote sensor would ease my mind quite a bit.
Thank you for the responses. I will be ordering one soon.

I agree, if I had it to do all over again...I would so do it!

We're adding a wind deflector to ours. We get the kind of snow storms that blow open our wind proof, double, cold weather dog door. (that's how I got new flooring in that area - got up one morning to our own 5' drift inside).

The Ador1 really can't "blow open". It is locked in placed by the ratcheting and the track. However, once it is open, the wind can blow into the coop.

Did any body here with the order number under 1410 get delivery notification yet? I haven't but I m still hoping to sometime today. I was so hoping to get it by Wednesday. I am chomping at the bit to see this thing work. My chickens are going to like it almost as much as I expect to.

We use to live in Colorado so I am familiar with the deep drifting snow issues. My husband built a covered "L" shaped wall outside of our dog door to keep the snow from blowing in the door. It worked but piled up outside the "L" so the dogs still couldn't get out, lol. We moved to AZ.

My order was 1292. It was delivered about two weeks ago. That probably doesn't help you though, huh? When it shipped I got shipping notice the same day, it arrived 3 business days later.

And if your door hole is already ready, it takes about 5 minutes to install.
