Ador1 automatic door closing on chickens?

Hi guys! I just bought the Ador1 automatic door and my biggest worry was chickens heads getting closed on and them dying after hearing a couple horror stories. So I wanted to test the door to see if it felt resistance with my hand and would go back up…and let me tell you, that door crushed my hand so hard and hardly went up an inch or long enough for me to get my hand out. Has anyone had issues with it injuring/killing chickens?!

My chickens are as dumb as they come yet they have managed not to get injured in the Ador chicken door.
