I have some broody hens and am trying to hatch out a couple of eggs. The first hatched successfully yesterday and is doing great. I removed him/her because he got pecked by the broody and she wasn't sitting on him/her. She had another egg under her last night and this morning, and when I came home from work, the egg was gone. There is no way something got in the coop - it's completely enclosed. There is no sign of baby, yolk or shell anywhere. Anybody have this happen?
