Hi all,
Free to good home...
Sad to say, I'm starting to look for a more appropriate home for my White Chinese and Pilgrim geese. We live on a road with many walkers, joggers, bikers- and the girls are in a constant state of outrage all day! Their (and my) nerves would be happier without the constant over-stimulation.
I am assuming they'd do better with more, and more quiet land- a nice pasture and barn somewhere?- they do love to eat grass all day, and have kept my lawn down nicely.
They might need to be "only children"; they don't play well with others. Daisy, the Chinese goose, had one of the Welsh Harlequins down today and seemed intent on destruction. Normally they're kept in separate areas but the ducks thought it was a good idea to sneak into the goose pen.
Am starting my search with BYC Goose people as they'd be the best owners! Then will turn to Craigslist and our local version of it.
Lots of pics in my albums...
