Chirping
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently taken in a young hen with a leg injury to help rehab her, but the normal stuff doesn’t seem to be working. At this point I’ve had her a week, and she was injured by a dog a week before that.
She holds her leg close to her body and is super quick at hopping. She’s eating and drinking as usual, and is quite mouthy like she’s about to lay an egg.
It doesn’t seem like the tendon has slipped, and I can’t feel a break or anything. When I move the leg, she tightens her fingers around mine a tiny bit but not as grippy as the other leg. It also won’t extend fully back, but the joint doesn’t seem out of place. Any thoughts? Her mood is great and otherwise she seems peppy. Thoughts?
